Orangeriver
Lodge does not only cater for weary travelers
but it is also an enjoyable breakaway in
the peaceful Karoo with enough activities
to keep you occupied day and night.
Your
hosts are Leon and Lynn whom purchased the
property during 2001. Leon is an ex banker
from Pretoria and with Lynn's decorating
skills the farm was restored to an upmarket
game and guest farm.
It
is a perfect stopover for tourist en route
from Johannesburg on their way to the Garden
Route and Cape Town or vice versa
The
original farm stead was redesigned as a
fully licensed restaurant and the horse
stables converted into tastefully decorated
en-suite rooms.
Accommodation
Between
16 and 24 guests can be accommodated per
night. The majority of the rooms are air
conditioned for summer. In winter the rooms
are heated and are also equipped with heated
blankets. All rooms are equipped with colour
televisions.
Touring
groups
Comfortable
parking available for touring busses and
lunch can be provided for up to 60 people.

in a spacious 2nd restaurant area which
also has it's own bar and kitchen facility.
