Introduction to Boschrand Guest Farm
Ideal accommodation centrally situated between Guateng, Kwazulu Natal, Eastern and Western Cape.
Why stay at Boschrand? Our sunsets paint incredible hues and the clear night-skies offer a glimpse of the universe. Our veld is on the threshold of the Karoo with the oasis enticing butterflies and birds to your doorstep. ...But it is our hospitality that brings you back. Come and relax in nature's tranquility.
Retreat to large comfortable private units with en suite shower / toilet or bath / toilet. Each unit has its own lounge and dining area for ultimate comfort. All have fridge and tea / coffee facilities. Safe parking right next to your unit. A huge lapa allows for leisure and true Karoo conviviality. You can relax in our inviting garden or walk to our farm dam. Small conferences of up to 16 people can be accommodated for. We serve breakfast and dinner (Karoo lamb and farm fare) by prior arrangement.
Our units sleep 6; 4; 3 or 2 people.
Conference Facilities : Boschrand can accommodate conferences of up to 24 people. While a large conference hall within a vast private library creates the ideal setting for creative thought, the huge lapa balances work and play. The services of a clinical psychologist and communications expert are available on location for group creativity, leadership and personality enrichment workshops.
There is plenty to do at Boschrand like game viewing, boat cruises on nearby Gariep Dam and anglo Boer War sights. You can also do some hiking and bird viewing. Best of all, we provide fun farm activities for children - feed a hanslam, or watch the cows being milked, etc. For book lovers there is a vast private library holding untold delights.
